Annenberg Resources 

The Paul Messaris Media Lab – The Annenberg School’s Media Lab is a source for media production materials to help you produce media work of any kind and at any level. From selfie sticks, to wireless microphones, cameras, camcorders, lighting, tripods, ring lights, headphones, it is a very useful space for Annenberg affiliated students who want to work with sound and video in any format. The Media Lab also has a Mac suite with a range of audio and video editing programs for beginner to advanced level (Adobe Creative Suite and others). 

Penn Libraries 

Weigle Information Commons – The Weigle Information Commons (WIC) offers collaborative study spaces, technology-rich classrooms, training, equipment, and support for digital and emerging media and technology for Penn students, faculty, and staff. 

Vitale Digital Media Lab – Located on the 1st floor of the Van Pelt Library is the central media editing and equipment loan facility at the University. This is a great place to visit for assistance in working on your media projects from a technical standpoint. They also have a collection of editing suites as well as media production kit that you can borrow including VR Headsets and other fun digital production tools. 

Education Commons – Located inside the Franklin Field Stadium, the EC is a makerspace/hackerspace/creative space for any kind of material production in the 3D realm. Think 3D printers, textiles, electronics, objects and materials. We will visit there during the course for a workshop but you can drop into the center at any time.
